The Brad Richards Building Sea2Sky Challenge

The Sea2Sky Challenge is a triathlon, duathlon & trail run event for all ages and abilities. Enter solo or in teams for an unforgettable experience!

The Sea2Sky Challenge is a triathlon, duathlon, and trail running event set on a spectacular course around Christchurch’s Port Hills and Godley Head, with options for all ages and abilities.

Full Challenge – Begin with a swim at Scarborough Beach, ride up Evans Pass and along the Summit Road, then finish with a run over the stunning Godley Head and Taylors Mistake tracks.

Juniors & Novices – Enjoy a friendly, accessible event on the flat streets of Sumner, perfect for those new to triathlon.

Trail Run – Take on the 17km run, featuring the Captain Thomas Track, Summit Road, and the Godley Head and Taylors Mistake trails.

Kids (5–9 years) – Have fun in a short wade/run designed to give young athletes their first taste of multisport.
