The Arts Centre Heritage Restoration – An Exhibition Designer’s Story

Hear from an Arts Centre designer currently developing a new permanent exhibition about the heritage restoration of The Arts Centre.

Original heritage stone, as well as other 'found' heritage items, are being collected and shaped into a large exhibition to tell our story.

Find out what stories the designer is weaving together, where he is sourcing the imagery and artwork from, how he is designing the flow of the exhibition, and how he will make it appeal to all ages.

The event will take place in the area under development for this permanent exhibition, and will have large heritage Oamaru stone blocks and other items recovered from the earthquake rubble, from the 1830s and beyond, each of which has a hidden story to tell.
