Te Tau Hou – Circus Kapa Haka Fusion Performance – Matariki 2022

The Christchurch Circus Trust in collaboration with Ngā Toi o te Rangi cultural group is proud to present a performing arts extravaganza.

Circus aerials, kapa haka, live music and theatre mark the significance of Matariki 2022 and its first nationally recognised standing.

Te Tau Hou showcases the life of a young boy (Tama) on a journey of discovery into the wonder that is Matariki. Tama meets the cluster of stars and unravels the identity and majesty of each.

The story is brought to life through the exhilaration of kapa haka, live music and stunning acrobatic aerials performance.
