Swiss darning workshop

Learn Swiss darning in this hands-on workshop and recreate knitted stitches for strong, invisible mends.

Swiss darning is a precise and resourceful way to repair knitted fabric by recreating the original stitches with a needle and yarn. It’s ideal for reinforcing thin areas and keeping the stretch and look of knitwear. In this workshop, you will learn the stitch and achieve an invisible mend on a knitted swatch using appropriate yarn - all materials are provided. Practise on a swatch, then apply the technique to your own knits. A practical skill for extending the life of your favourite knits.
