Knotwilg is pleased to present the first European tour of free noise trio, Surface of the Earth [NZ].
Best known for their self-titled debut double LP, follow-up Interference, and lathe cut 7's on their own World Resources label, Surface of the Earth have re-emerged in recent years with a series of festival, church and gallery shows in their home country.
Combining guitar/amplifier hum, drone, crackle and feedback, they create vast blocks of sound where subtle, fragile textures occasionally flicker.
