The Curio Club

The Curio Club(external link) takes the tastiest rock and pop ... and turns it into freshly squeezed jazz! From The Beatles to Elton John, Led Zeppelin to Dave Dobbyn, Pink Floyd to Radiohead, David Bowie to Queen and many more ... all freshly jazzed.

With Max Tocker on piano, Dave Pitt on upright bass, and Lucy Daws on drums and vocals, The Curio Club is always a quirky, fun mix of classy ear and eye candy.

Chicks from Corea

Chicks from Corea(external link) is an upcoming, dynamic ensemble pushing the jazz genre's boundaries with their innovative, modern approach. Comprising accomplished musicians from Burnside High School’s Specialist Music Programme, the band’s members infuse their jazz roots with modern contemporary influences like hip-hop and neo-soul to create a sound that is both familiar and new, leaving audiences of all ages wanting more.

They specialise in writing and performing their own original music and have been recognised for their talents by winning composition awards in national and regional competitions such as Jazz Band-It and Y-Factor. Chicks From Coreas’ live performances are high-energy and engaging, making them a must-see act for jazz enthusiasts and music lovers alike.
