St Michael and All Angels church is pleased to be able to once again be part of the Heritage Celebration in 2023. The site has offered worship and education for 172 years. It was the junior school in the city at a charge of a penny a week.
The story of the church and school continues to evolve but has always shown how two different activities can happen together on one site. We open the door of the church so that people can see the skills of the craftspeople who built the church and those who furnished it.
