Richard Greenaway (M.A. (Honours in History), University of Canterbury, 1972) has taken cemetery tours during Heritage Week/Festival since 1994. From 1980-2015 he was Reference librarian, Aotearoa New Zealand Centre, Christchurch City Libraries, and is the author of two books for Christchurch City Libraries: Unsung heroines (published for Women's Suffrage Year, 1993) and Rich man, poor man, environmentalist, thief (for the millenium and 150th anniversary of the Canterbury province), in 2000. Greenaway received the A. C. Rhodes Medal from the Canterbury History Foundation in 2008.
