Paws what you’re doing. We’ve got an announcement: Our next weekend dog walk is approaching.
We’ll have scoops of our dog (and human) friendly ‘Woof Woof’ gelato for the day. Be sure to share with your best mate one of our whippin Peanut Butter & Banana scoops. Every dog who joins the walk will be gifted their first scoop on us.
To join the walk is a gold coin donation.
100% of donations go to our hard-working pals at the SPCA Christchurch Centre. They have been the voice for those that can’t speak for themselves since 1872 and they’re dedicated to animal welfare, rescue and rehabilitation. With under 1% government funding, these guys rely heavily on the generosity of those who choose to make a difference.
Our expert dog walking team has mapped out a 20-minute route through the city.
Our walk will start from Rollickin Cashel St, and finish at Rollickin The Arts Centre Te Matatiki Toi Ora.
When you arrive at Rollickin at the Arts Centre you and your doggy pals will be welcomed to the Mākete for a day of arty and barky fun as they host The Barkery and the amazing dog rescue organisations they support, Dogwatch Sanctuary Trust and Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue.
There will be yummy treats for humans and four-legged friends to enjoy, dapper doggy accessories, toys on offer, spot prizes and of course endless pats. You’d be barking mad to miss The Barkery Mākete day.
There is no limit on dogs per human, or humans per dog. Humans do not need to be accompanied by a dog, everyone is welcome.
