In the aftermath of the Mosque shootings, survivors and supporters joined Janneth Gil and collaborators to transform tragedy through creative community. Their responses immortalise their experiences and tributes artistically, inviting viewers to take action towards positive social change.

The exhibition features a poignant series of linocut artworks, carefully made using ink created from incinerated tributes given in response to the March 15 terror attack. Come along and experience these unique and special artworks, designed, created, and shared for good.

A variety of creative, uplifting and free events, for all ages, will also be offered through the exhibition period. Check out the Mindful Printmaking and Badges for Peace Workshops, documentary screenings and panel discussions with members of the Muslim Community at christchurchcitylibraries.com

The Raising Sakinah | Finding Peace exhibition welcomes everyone, and is open during (Tūranga) library hours.
