Orange Bike Ride

Dress in orange, do our quiz and win great prizes. A fun family event for all of Aotearoa New Zealand to enjoy on Sunday 30 April.

The Dutch Week Orange Bike Ride will bike 4km from Canterbury University to North Hagley Park to Hagley Golf Club.

We encourage you to bike or bus into the city where possible. Free parking is available on the Canterbury University campus, visitor parking at  90 Ilam Road, south of University Drive or Science Road entrance, and north of University Drive. 

The official ride start is 10am at the corner of Ilam Road and University Drive, but you can start every 15 minutes between 10am and 12 pm.

At the finish, hand over your completed quiz form to receive a Dutch treat and win great prizes. There will also be a prize-giving at the end for the best-dressed cyclist and the best-dressed bike.

What to bring?  As much orange as you can and your bike and helmet.
