New Zealand Division 2 Mixed Ultimate Championships

Come along to watch the New Zealand Division 2 Ultimate Frisbee Championships at Ngā Puna Wai. 14 teams from around New Zealand will travel to Christchurch to compete in the up and coming sport of Ultimate Frisbee for national honors.

Canterbury Ultimate and New Zealand Ultimate welcome anyone interested in Ultimate Frisbee to the New Zealand Division 2 Mixed Championships.

As well as the tournament play itself, two presentations will occur during the tournament; Strength and Conditioning in Ultimate presentation by Mike Stevenson, Athlete Conditioning Specialist and a Gender Equity in Ultimate community discussion led by Zoe Risner, national team player.

A showcase game featuring the top seeded teams from each pool will occur on the Saturday evening on the exhibition field following the completion of other games.

Tournament Central located next to the fields will host a number of fun activities over the two days including a bungee run and layout bouncy castle. 

Facilities at Ngā Puna Wai include - cafe open from start to finish both days, bar open from 5pm to finish on the Saturday as well as toilets and a grandstand on the exhibition field.
