Join The Green Lab and The White Room Community Creative Space for a series of fun and practical natural dye workshops.
Join The Green Lab and The White Room Community Creative Space for a series of fun and practical natural dye workshops where plants become pigments and fabric becomes your canvas. Over five sessions, you’ll learn how to prepare fabric for dyeing and experiment with colour-shifting techniques, then explore a range of traditional and plant-based dye methods.
We’ll discover the magic of eco-printing using leaves and flowers, work with rich blue dyes from indigo and woad, create bright yellow tones with weld, and develop deep reds with madder. Each workshop will introduce a different process and palette, building on your skills as you go.
Expect beautiful surprises, stained hands, and fabric samples to take home.
This workshop is suitable for ages 14 and up!
The workshops require a minimum of 8 people to run. We may have to cancel if we do not reach minimum numbers, so talk to a friend and bring them along! Booking is essential.
