Musical instrument making

Learn from a specialist in making homemade instruments from household materials and recycling. It's time to demonstrate creativity with music, art and craft.

Davey is a specialist in making homemade instruments from household materials and recycling. This is a very creative session where kids can demonstrate their creativity with music, art and craft.

Davey will run these instrument-making sessions for 5 to 8-year-olds and 9 to 12-year-olds, making a variety of instruments from Tin Can Shakers to Kazoos and Diddly Bows. 

Venue: Maker Workshop.

Schedule

  • 1.30pm session for 5 to 8-year-olds
  • 3.00pm session for 9 to 12-year-olds

This event is part of The Arts Centre's School Holiday Fun (23 September to 8 October), a lively programme bursting with loads of creative events and activities to spark imagination and entertain pre-schoolers through to teens.
