Musica Balkanica: Alleluia Balkan Easter Celebration
Christchurch's Balkan Choir, Musica Balkanica, presents a concert of sacred chants and hymns celebrating Easter.
These a cappella pieces are sung in a variety of languages and cover a range of musical styles from the 19th and 20th centuries, sourced from all across the Balkan region, including Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Serbia, as well as from Ukraine.
The Choir would be most grateful for any cash koha/donation at the door to help cover our operating expenses.
