Miss Leading is a singer, poet, electronic music producer and the founder of Wellington network, Eastern Sound Collective.
She recently released her debut album Minor Thing that features Girl is Gone, a call out for female empowerment.
Miss Leading produces an alternative style of electronic pop music with chilled melodic sounds and strong baselines. Interwoven with conscious lyrics her music aims to get your body moving and your mind thinking.
Robots In Love
Electro, groove, trap and techno beats are infused with thick bass, overlaid with synths, topped with sublime vocals and drenched in emotion, from quirky fun songs to epic soaring moments.
The best description I've heard is "unpigeonholeable".
A local Dunedin talent that has played shows all over the world, from Mountain Festival on the top of Mt Hotaka in Japan to Elektroanschlag in underground vaults in Germany, and released about 100 tracks on albums and compilations.
