Great Upcycling Bee 12 - 15 years | Matatiki Hornby Centre
Join the Great Library Upcycling Bee! In two sessions, turn old clothes into something new using sewing, no-sew, and your imagination.
You can book for one or both sessions to transform an old t-shirt, shirt, other clothes or scrap fabric into something you want to wear or use.
Either bring your own garments or choose something from our stash. Embellish it or completely transform it into something fabulous. You can choose to use our sewing machines; hand sew or use a no-sew approach.
Prizes to be won!
This workshop will be available over two sessions. Basic sewing skills are required if you want to use our sewing machines and overlocker.
