Our Sundays at Four 2026 season opens with the sensational Vietnamese-Australian pianist Luu Hong Quang playing Franz Liszt.

We open our 2026 Season with the sensational Vietnamese Australian pianist Luu Hong Quang. A former winner of the esteemed Lev Vlassenko Competition in Brisbane, Quang’s recent recording of the Liszt Transcendental Études released by Rattle has received widespread acclaim. His recent performances include recitals across Aotearoa, Australia, Vietnam,

China, Hungary, and Austria, and orchestral appearances with the Queensland Symphony, Royal Philharmonic, and Metropolitan Orchestra of Australia. Luu is currently based in Wellington where he is pursuing his DMA degree under Associate Professor Jian Liu at Victoria University.
