Lion Dance Workshop
Celebrate the Year of the Snake with Christchurch City Libraries. Come along to Upper Riccarton Library and find out how Lion Dance works.
This workshop will be delivered jointly by the well-known Qiao Yi Lion Dance Team and Christchurch City Libraries staff.
You will learn how to make a lion head with recycled materials and the basic movements, then participate in a casual lion dance performance for fun.
Ages 9 to 16 years.
