Christ’s College is the city’s oldest school and possesses one of the most significant groups of heritage educational buildings in the city. The school was founded in Lyttelton in 1851, relocated to Christchurch in 1852 and established on its present site in 1857.
The college is associated with a number of leading city architects. Guided tours of the College will include the Christ's College Chapel, Dining Hall, Jacobs House, and Big School.
