Kiri and Lou display and screenings

Kiri and Lou are characters from New Zealand’s much-loved claymation television series! Come and see an amazing display all about how these characters are brought to life, then watch episodes on the big screen TV.

Kiri and Lou follows the adventures of Kiri, a feisty little dinosaur with overpowering emotions and Lou, a gentle but thoughtful creature. Each story is about the friendship of two prehistoric creatures and their adventures in the forest a long, long time ago. Featuring the voices of Jemaine Clement and Olivia Tennet.

Come to Tūranga, our central Christchurch library and visit KidsFest’s one-off behind-the-scenes Kiri and Lou claymation display. Discover how paper and clay have been used to create characters and scenes for television. Then, see this come to life! 

Kiri and Lou episodes will be screening on various days and times throughout the school holidays.
