Kā Pūtahi Creek and Styx River Adventure

Explore native plantings, experience Rongoā Māori, cross a river by boat, and enjoy a BBQ lunch at the Styx Living Laboratory Centre!

Grade: Beginner.

A guided walk-through native restoration plantings and other key features along the Kā Pūtahi Creek and Styx River including Rongoā Māori natural healing, a river crossing by a small boat and a picnic at the Styx Living Laboratory Centre.

Participants and their dependents (children must be supervised) must take full responsibility for their safety, health, and equipment while navigating varied terrain across public and private routes, wearing sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing, and carrying essential supplies, including water, food, and sun protection.

No dogs please.
