This event is part of the City Nature Challenge - a global bioblitz where cities compete to record the most nature observations. Seven Aotearoa cities are taking part this year - help Christchurch defend its crown!
Join local experts and fellow local nature enthusiasts to record the diverse plants and wildlife of Nepal Reserve, Christchurch, contributing to real research and learning along the way. Suitable for all ages and abilities, with iNaturalist support available for beginners.
Whether you're keen on insects, plants or birds, you're welcome to focus on whatever interests you most :)
- Taking photos of plants, insects, and wildlife using the iNaturalist app
- Contributing to a global citizen science project
