This 90-minute workshop is for regular users of the app who want to create a community of citizen scientists around a place or project.

Led by the living legend Jon Sullivan, this workshop covers:

·         How to create and manage projects within iNaturalist NZ – Mātaki Taiao

·         How to download data and use it to tell important stories

·         Engaging with the iNaturalistNZ community

·         Becoming an identifier

Jon, an ecologist based at Lincoln University, has made nearly 60,000 observations using the iNaturalistNZ app, which even he describes as an obsession.

Bring your own device, with the app already installed.

Note: this workshop is for those familiar with the app already – you need to have made at least 50 observations to be able to create a project.
