Growl, Hop and Fly: Creating Awesome Animal Characters

Talking bugs? Why not? Use animals’ real-life superpowers to create believable characters, even if they can talk.

In this workshop, we’ll explore some of the amazing real-life abilities of animals around which you can build characters, plots and adventures that your readers will love. We’ll dive into biology, physiology and ecology, using science to enhance the art of building great characters.

Participants will get a $10 voucher to be spent at the Tamariki Book Festival on 13 July!
