Grow Ōtautahi - celebrating creativity, innovation and the region’s love of gardens and outdoor living, stimulating discussion about food resilience, sharing knowledge and exploring cultural associations to design and landscape.
Grow Ōtautahi aims to inspire and to connect communities through the sharing of knowledge and the exploration of cultural associations with design, landscape, plants and the growing of food for our whānau and for our communities.
Grow Ōtautahi will include exhibition gardens, a schools’ garden competition, botanical displays, a community garden, panel discussions, cooking demonstrations, entertainment, and family activities.
There will be workshops and masterclasses providing hands-on expert advice.
Whether you are new to gardening or an expert in growing, this free event will have something for you to engage with, learn from or react to.
