New works for brass ensemble and jazz soloist. This project began with Cameron looking at how compositions might be created for a brass ensemble and jazz soloist, drawing on inspiration from Aaron Copland, Kenny Wheeler and Ron Miles. The resulting compositions were brought together as a studio album in 2024, and today’s performance will be the first live performance of these pieces.
