Going on a Bear Hunt

Navigate through grass, water, mud and trees to find the bear. Family-friendly outdoor activity, great for young walkers.

Fitness: Beginner
Grade: Medium – Mixed terrain
Distance: 1 km

We're going on a Bear Hunt. We're not scared. Bring the children down to the park for a swishy swashy, splishy splashy, squelchy squerchy adventure.

Great for young walkers and their families. Gumboots are recommended but mud can be avoided if necessary.

Walks will leave from the playground every 15 minutes between 1pm and 2.45pm. We suggest parking on Hills Road or Kellys Road.

Participants must take full responsibility for their own safety and their dependents while navigating varied terrain. Children must be supervised at all times.

Meet at Walter Park Playground, Mairehau. Parking on Hills Road or Kellys Road.

No dogs, please. Gumboots recommended. No postponement date
