This FREE community event and sporting showcase encourages people of all ages and abilities to explore the South Island’s brand new indoor sports centre.
This coming Saturday 10 February, 9am - 3pm, it's Game On Canterbury!
This FREE community event and sporting showcase encourages people of all ages and abilities to explore the South Island’s brand new indoor sports centre.
For the first time in 2024, Game On Canterbury will be held on the city’s fantastic new multipurpose courts and mezzanine floor at Ngā Puna Wai.
There’s something for all ages and abilities. Have a go at different activities on offer as an individual, family or group of friends.
The format is fun, flexible and highly interactive. The 10 brand new wooden sprung courts provide the perfect space for this sport and recreation showcase at Ngā Puna Wai.
Sport and recreation on display includes:
- No Limits Netball in partnership with the Halberg Foundation
- Mainland Football
- Badminton Canterbury
- Circotica
- Piwakawaka Fencing
- Peninsula and Plains Orienteers
- Tennis Canterbury
- Boccia Canterbury
- Table Tennis Canterbury
- Hornby Netball Club
- Mixx Korfball
- Christchurch Netball
- Canterbury Golf
- Canterbury Handball
- Canterbury Blokarts
- South West Sport & Recreation Hub
- Christchurch City Council
Come along to Ngā Puna Wai and go in the draw to WIN great prizes - Including one of two @tactixnetball family passes (consisting of four tickets).
