Canterbury Regional Race Day is the culmination of a year of work for our high school students, who have designed and built their own electric vehicles. There will also be interactive displays all centered on electric vehicles - our future.
The Canterbury Regional Race Day is an exciting inter-schools event that is open to the public.
EVolocity is a charitable organisation that runs a STEM education programme at high schools throughout the country.
On 1 November 2020, our Canterbury and Otago teams will be competing in a series of events to test the electric vehicles they have spent the year building. Bikes, trikes, and carts of all shapes, designs and sizes will be there to show off.

There will also be interactive displays from our sponsors: test drive an electric vehicle with Orion, race some mini electric cars with ARA, and try out some electric buggies with UC Engineering.
KartSport will also show off their petrol carts briefly. There will also be a coffee cart with snacks, and Mr Whippy.
