Estuary Fest 2026

Come celebrate our beautiful Ihutai / Avon-Heathcote Estuary with interactive education stalls, games, food trucks, music, etc in South Brighton

Celebrate our Estuary. What makes our estuary so special? How did it get to be listed as a wetland of global importance and be part of the East Asian-Australasian Flyway (EAAF) network?

Explore what lives in, on, under and around our estuary by engaging with our fun experiences, exhibitions, interactive games, crafting, live displays, music, food trucks, etc. Teams from EOS Ecology, the Estuary Trust, CCC, DOC, and many more organisations, will have activities & tasks to take you in, on and under the water to discover heaps about this special place.

Join in the fun experiences, see you there!
