Essex Reserve Working Bee

Join us, a long standing Volunteer and Council Ranger, for a low-key maintenance working bee in a pocket park. All welcome.

What to expect:

  • Maintenance session in a small pocket park in Phillipstown (corner of Tuam St and Stanmore Rd). 
  • Brief introduction and health and safety briefing.
  • Weeding, caring for plants and general maintenance.
  • Gloves and tools provided. 
  • Suggest parking on surrounding streets and walking over to reserve as there's limited parking. 

What to bring:

  • Closed-in shoes.
  • Gardening gloves or hand tools (if you have them).
  • Clothes suitable for gardening. 
  • Sun protection.
  • Drinking water.

This event will be cancelled if raining. 

In addition, we are seeking volunteers to be part of a monthly maintenance working bee in the park. Please reach out if you're interested.
