Essex Reserve Working Bee
Join us, a long standing Volunteer and Council Ranger, for a low-key maintenance working bee in a pocket park. All welcome.
What to expect:
- Maintenance session in a small pocket park in Phillipstown (corner of Tuam St and Stanmore Rd).
- Brief introduction and health and safety briefing.
- Weeding, caring for plants and general maintenance.
- Gloves and tools provided.
- Suggest parking on surrounding streets and walking over to reserve as there's limited parking.
What to bring:
- Closed-in shoes.
- Gardening gloves or hand tools (if you have them).
- Clothes suitable for gardening.
- Sun protection.
- Drinking water.
This event will be cancelled if raining.
In addition, we are seeking volunteers to be part of a monthly maintenance working bee in the park. Please reach out if you're interested.
