Earthquake Stories Walk

Join Our Stories Project for a guided audio walk of the central city, where you'll hear stories from people who were in the city on 22 February 2011.

The stories have been sourced from the CEISMIC digital archive held by the University of Canterbury. CEISMIC is an archive built to preserve the knowledge, memories, and experiences of the Canterbury Earthquakes through images, video, audio and documents.

You'll be provided with headsets to hear these first-hand stories as we walk through the places where they happened. Some content may not be appropriate for young children.

Maximum 10 participants - number is limited by available headsets. Event starts outside Quake City Museum.
