Discover Ōtamahua Quail Island

The beautiful and pest free Ōtamahua is home to historic sites such as the ship’s graveyard and the quarantine barracks.

Catch the Black Cat ferry over to Ōtamahua Quail Island and join in on a guided loop track that passes historic sites and offers beautiful views of Lyttelton Harbour and the surrounding Banks Peninsula.

This walk circumnavigates Ōtamahua Quail Island.

Adults $15, Children $10 to cover ferry costs: cash only on arrival or pre-pay via Debit or Credit Card over the phone.

Please indicate in your email how you wish to pay. All attendees must check-in and pay with a Department of Conservation staff member before boarding the boat.
