Christmas in the City
Bring the children and follow Santa and Mrs. Claus as they punt the Avon River from Margaret Mahy Playground to the steps of The Terrace. We will have a live band and Elves.
This will be a fun family activity to welcome Santa.
Starting at 10.30am, Santa and Mrs. Claus enter New Regent Street with a choir to sing a few carols until the arrival of the Ambush Brass Band who escort him to Margaret Mahy Playground.
Santa and Mrs. Claus mount the punt at 11am sharp and the Elves and the Ambush Brass Band lead the parade along the Avon River Promenade.
The children will have an opportunity to speak with Santa when he sits on the Riverside Market Sleigh and again when he makes his way to The Crossing's sleigh.
