Winter Solstice pre-Matariki Night Light Bike Ride

Join this family friendly cycle ride around Hagley Park on the longest night of the year with your best bike lights.

The purpose is to brightly support safe cycling in Christchurch, for commuters, kids riding to school and for all recreational cyclists. And to be cool - very cool.

This is a family-friendly event but organisers urge that you ride with your children as it is pretty dark after 5.30pm. Bling out your bike, helmet and yourselves with as many lights as you can.

We follow each other single file counter clockwise around North Hagley park on the footpath or road - your choice. Riders disperse on their own at the end of the ride.
