Take part in Christchurch City Libraries' annual Photo Hunt, share your photos with us and help tell the story of life in Christchurch.
Photo Hunt aims to gather photographs, digital and physical, from across the community, along with the unique stories of their creators. These photographs are made available via the Discovery Wall(external link) and form part of the permanent heritage collections housed on Canterbury Stories(external link) at Christchurch City Libraries.
As part of Photo Hunt 2024, Christchurch City Libraries are running some drop-in digitisation sessions. Come along to a digitisation event to work with staff to have your images digitised, described and submitted to Photo Hunt.
The Photo Hunt competition runs from 1 to 31 October with this year's Heritage Festival theme: Active Heritage: sport, recreation and leisure.
