Christchurch cake-nic cake potluck
It's simple. Bring a cake and get to try hundreds of other cakes. A sunny day of fun and sweetness. Pro baker or beginner all is welcome! cake and community.
After an insane amount of demand, the Christchurch cake-nic has decided to make a comeback and it's going to be bigger and better.
Rules are simple: Entry is a ticket and a cake per person, every ticket holder must bring in a cake. Without a cake you will not be allowed entry. This is strict and ensures fairness for all attendees. Even if you bought a ticket on behalf of someone else and they are coming as your guest.
- Additionally, please bring a picnic blanket, snacks for yourself and a water bottle. There will be food vendors however it is limited and may have long lines.
- Each ticketholder will be provided with a wristband, a cake box, plastic gloves, hand sanitiser, wet wipes, cutlery a cake knife and napkins.
- Please bring a cake stand and a cover for your cake as well as a label on a stick with flavour and dietaries. Plastic cake knives will be provided by cakenic.
- We will also have some fun things such as facepainting for kids, outdoor games, music and a matcha stall where you can purchase specialty iced matcha drinks as well as sausage sizzle and popcorn to purchase
- Kids under 12 are free however they will not be provided with their own cake box.
- Cakes must be at least 8 inch in size and will be checked upon registration. No mini cakes, cupcakes or brownies please.
