Celebrating our local light artists and creative minds with a series of light installations, interactive displays and projections around the central city and New Brighton.
Each night, mesmerising displays will transform Christchurch’s architecture and open spaces, including City Mall, Cathedral Square, Tūranga, Victoria Square, Ōtākaro Avon River, The Arcades, New Brighton Pier and more.
This event has been put together by the Council’s Events and Enliven Places teams to help fill the gap created by the postponement of this year’s Botanic D’Lights Tirama due to COVID-19.
Although of a different scale to Botanics, LIT is lighting up and enhancing more than 20 existing spaces and artworks around the central city and New Brighton.
