Canterbury Museum Through the Years

Join us for a special lecture about Canterbury Museum, its history and place in Christchurch’s society through the decades.

This one-off lecture exploring the long and varied history of this iconic Christchurch institution will be delivered by the Museum's Science and Curatorial Communicator Dr Morgane Merien.

Dr Morgane Merien is an entomologist and science communicator. She is passionate about all parts of our natural world, but even more so regarding insects, and loves to share this passion with everyone she meets.

Morgane currently works as a Science and Curatorial Communicator at Canterbury Museum, where she contributes to public and education programs, aids in content creation, and supports the curatorial and exhibition teams.
