Cantabrainers Choir Christmas Concert

Cantabrainers Choir members are joined by a string quartet of members of the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra to perform a festive Christmas programme.

Cantabrainers Choir is delighted to invite you to join us for our Christmas concert.

Our choir members are joined by a string quartet of members of the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra to perform a programme of joyful songs to celebrate another year of Cantabrainers Therapeutic Choir, and bring in the festive season.

Cantabrainers Therapeutic Choir Charitable Trust is a small Ōtautahi based non-profit, which runs therapeutic choirs in Waitaha, Canterbury for people living with neurological conditions. The choirs are led by a music therapist and a speech-language therapist and aim to improve and maintain communication through the physical act of singing, the social interaction and connection that comes with singing in a group.

Our concerts are important fundraising opportunities for us to help meet the costs of running our choir and helping eliminate barriers of access for our choir members.

We are excited to be at the wonderful Empower Church on Springfield Rd. Car parking onsite is available as well as surrounding streets. Empower Church is a wheelchair-accessible venue.

Please note, there will be limited door sales available this year, so please purchase your online ticket early to secure your seat. Koha and donations welcome.

If you are unable to attend the concert but would like to show your support, we encourage you to make a donation to our work via Humanitix, or you can head along to our Givealittle page where we accept donations all year round.

We are grateful to all of our sponsors, donors, funders, volunteers, supporters and audiences for your support; and we are so looking forward to sharing this event with you.

Follow our Facebook page to stay up to date with event details.

We are a health-conscious organisation and encourage you to stay at home if you are unwell.
