The talented students of Tim Emerson and Anna Maksymova show their progress in technique and articulation.
Specialist Music Programme (SMP) students see music as a very important activity during their high school years.
Places are gained by audition and entry can be at any year level. The group meets every Wednesday afternoon, tutored by Tim Emerson and Anna Maksymova.
The emphasis is on the young players performing to refine their tone and improve technique and articulation within the group format.
This concert is part of the Rising Stars Concert Series 2023(external link). A new Tuesday lunchtime concert series that’s encouraging, supporting, nurturing and providing a performance platform for emerging young musicians.
