Building an Aerospace Nation with Mark Rocket
Mark Rocket will share his his unique insight of the NZ aerospace industry and will talk about his journey to space.
Mark has always had a burning passion for space. In 2007 he started commercial operations of Rocket Lab with Peter Beck and in 2018 Mark started Kea Aerospace, a company based in Canterbury, which flies uncrewed aircraft to the stratosphere. He’s the president of industry body Aerospace New Zealand, and on 1st June, Mark flew to space on a suborbital rocket flight with Blue Origin.
This talk will be insight into Mark's aerospace journey so far and the exciting aerospace developments in New Zealand.
The ticket includes light refreshments afterwards, with an opportunity to speak to Mark.
All funds raised benefit students of Te Aratai College.
