Botanic Gardens Guided Walks
Join the friendly and knowledgeable Friends of the Botanic Gardens for free guided walks through some our most popular collections.
Join the volunteer Friends of the Botanic Gardens guides on a journey through stunning plant collections. Learn about botany, horticulture and history while enjoying the beauty of the Christchurch Botanic Gardens.
Walks take place October to April from 1.30pm daily and run for 45 minutes unless stated otherwise.
Meet at the Kiosk (opposite the Armagh Street car park entrance to the Gardens) for Botanic Gardens walks and in the Mona Vale Rose Garden for walks at Mona Vale.
Please email to register your attendance if you have a group of more than five people. Smaller groups are welcome to just turn up.
Please note, there are no dogs allowed in the Botanic Gardens.
