Supported by the Waimāero Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board and Skate Skool, the Bishopdale Skate Jam is ready to roll out for 2024.

This great have-a-go youth skateboard event has:

  • skate demonstrations
  • best-trick comps
  • learn to skate with the Skate Skool team
  • Ffree skateboard hire

Our event is aimed at eight to 15-year-olds, but also suitable for younger or older audiences and for the family to attend. 

Bishopdale Skate Jam is held in conjunction with our great community event Celebrate Bishopdale, being held in the main park.

This includes entertaining stage performances from local school groups, artists and organisations.  Great food and free activities for the kids.
