Beach Clean Up for Art

Help clean up South New Brighton Beach then have a BBQ, in response to a local artist's call to look after native dune plants.

SCAPE Public Art is organising this beach clean-up as an extension of the environmental message in Kulimoe'anga Stone Maka’s sculpture, Pīngao, which is on display at the back of Te Pae.

What better slice of paradise to tend than South New Brighton Beach, home of the artist.

Help SCAPE pick up wind-blown litter and abandoned debris, then celebrate with a BBQ.
