Art Therapy

Christchurch Art as Therapy Group create a gentle space where visitors can connect with the Artworks and be carefully guided through creative responses.

Your guides are professionally qualified Creative Art Therapists from New Zealand (Viv Kepes) and abroad (Diana Alieva). Together developing their practice, aiding personal growth and learning.

These three sessions are connected by shared theme: nurturing oneself through creative exploration. This course is for anyone who wants to pause, take a deeper breath, look at art with attention - and gently connect with this in a personal way.

Meeting in the Christchurch Art Gallery, Te Puna o Waiwhetū Foyer the group will move through gallery spaces discussing and connecting to the Artwork, then in response, move through to the classroom where creativity can begin.
