Antarctic Explorations

Experienced Antarctic expedition guide John Rogers from the Antarctic Society will present several topics focusing on history.

Themes include the early exploration and discovery of the great southern land- from Ptolemy to the Heroic Age, all forms of Antarctica’s ice, and the current atmospheric science and astronomy conducted in Antarctica.
