Ōtautahi Learning Days, is an Ako Ōtautahi Learning City Christchurch festival.
Learning activities are happening all across the city and beyond, with a focus on celebrating all things learning.
The events are free or koha or low-cost and designed to be accessible, hands-on, experiential learning opportunities for anyone in Ōtautahi.
Our theme this year is Kōtuituia – Weaving Curiosity 23. By welcoming rich conversations, encouraging hands-on learning and focusing on future opportunities, people of all ages and abilities connect to their curious and learning selves.
Imagine the possibilities. Throughout the event, the public can explore Te Ao Māori in Ōtautahi, Christchurch and beyond. Ōtautahi Learning Days are an opportunity to learn across generations and silos, to explore ways in which we can create a sustainable learning city and to support learners of all ages to develop pathways for success.
This year's event is partnered with Remake Learning Days, a network of learning festivals originally from the US and sprawling across many regions. We are excited about all the learnings this is bringing and becoming a part of this festival that connects us across the globe.
