Application for new lights for existing tennis courts
The Hagley Park Tennis Club has requested permission to install new floodlighting to service four of its existing and presently unlit hard tennis courts within its leased area in North Hagley Park.
Six new light poles are proposed, with each to be approximately 12 metres high. There will be either 2 or 4 fixed light arrays on each pole.
Those interested to enquire about and/or comment on the proposal can do so by contacting Derek Roozen, Senior Network Planner Parks, on derek.roozen@ccc.govt.nz or 03 941 8798 by Wednesday 2 March 2022 at the latest. Please feel free to leave a voicemail message.
Feedback received will be included in a report to go to a meeting of the Linwood-Central-Heathcote Community Board, then to a meeting of the Council’s Sustainability and Community Resilience Committee at the end of March 2022 for consideration of approval of the proposed installation of the proposed lights in North Hagley Park.
